An elegant upright Penstemon with lovely outward facing tubular lavender purple flowers that bees love. Wonderful as an vertical accent in a border or in a bold grouping in the garden among shrubs. Prefers full sun and regular water. Often times it seeds willingly about the garden, which is good since it seems to be a short lived perennial. Surprisingly, deer often times don't eat it, possibly because of the slightly sticky feel of the leaves.
